The  MECHA GENE 

    Some feel compelled to find out what caused the Change,  others feel compelled to stay alive. 

   Thirteen year old Rider is more focused on why he survived the Pack torturing his family  to  death.  It has been almost a year sense they died and his brain wont let him forget it. His best hope is to  stay under the radar; jolt from place to place so maybe he can live the rest of his natural life before they find him.
    If Burn hadn't plunged him into the psychotic world of being a MECHA maybe he could've. Instead he running from place to place to, dealing with Burns emotional barriers and tendency to compulsively lie, so they can find the others like them. Maybe if they do the Investor won't dissect them; Pick them  apart so he can weaponize what’s inside him.

   Though if the science of MECHAs had been created, how was the Change allowed to happen? Had they billion simply been left to die?

     Or did the Pack orchestrate everything. Murdering the numbers  like they did his family.  Burn  can take them down though; Can’t she? Or will their bodies be left mangled and bloody like the others. The Mechas ripped from their genes.
